Windows 10: My system is stuck on restart

My system is stuck on restart. If I force shut it down and start it again, the window does automatic repair. But this way I am not able to shut it down properly or update the windows. What needs to be done?

• Did you receive any error message, when the system restore got stuck?
• Did you install any third party security application?

Since the computer is being stuck, I suggest you to restart the computer and try to perform the restore again and check if it helps.

Windows 10, Will not restart after System Restore.

To assist you better, I would like to ask some questions:

• Do you get any error message?
• Does the system not boot completely or does it get stuck while starting up?

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Go to the Microsoft software download website and create Windows 10
  installation media.
• Insert the installation media you created, and then restart your PC.
• On the Install Windows screen, select Repair your computer.
• On the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot>Advanced Options.
• Click on Startup Repair.

Computer not booting to desktop, stuck at Restarting screen

The issue might occur if the system is not Shut down properly. As you have already tried restarting the system several times, I suggest you to perform a Power Drain by following the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Turn Off the computer and remove the power cable.
• Long press the Power button for 15-20 seconds.
• Plug in the power cable and switch on the computer.
