Windows 10: My System Language is in English Australia but my Snipping Tool program is in Japanese all...

Hi, I've had my Windows 11 PC for over a year now, and the default language is English Australia. I also have the Japanese language installed, but everything in my Settings and default Windows programs are set in English. However, I tried using the Snipping Tool today and for some reason, everything is in Japanese! This wasn't the case until very recently, within the last week. I'm not sure why it did it, and I don't know how to change it back. Please advice! Want English language system with Japanese IME keyboard

Hi Divya,

while trying the method as you suggested, I could choose English as the display language,

but then when I am trying to add the input method, it does not show Microsoft IME as an option in the list.

at best I can only see/choose Japanese keyboard, but then the layout is different.

I am using a Toshiba dynabook KIRA, and my base OS is Japanese windows 8.1 which I upgraded to win 10.

I accidentally upgrade my windows 8 to windows 10 while in Japanese
I want everything back in English
I already tick regional language ,language settings and system locale
my clock settings and keyboard are fine now but the system language is still in Japanese..














am I missing something else or i'm doing it the wrong way?.. system language is still in japanese

 

Switching Japanese Windows with English menus

I have just reinstalled my PC with Japanese Windows (it's the only way to enable the full use of a Japanese keyboard - special keys etc.). However, I want my system language to be English (menus etc.). So far I have tried the following:

Settings:
Installed English language pack
Made English default language

Power menu (not sure of proper name - win_key-x):
Tried to switch language to English but does not appear in the menu.

Suggestions greatly appreciated!
