Windows 10: My System Restore won't work properly. Windows 10

I've made some headway removing the debris that OneDrive left on my Lock screen but to fully resolve the matter I need to run System Restore to the 22nd October, the day before OneDrive struck.

I want the System Restore system to do this but for some reason it keeps forcing me to do it manually, as you'll see from this snip:






Does anyone know what I should do next please?


PS I haven't a clue in which forum I should post this - I can't find one that caters for System Restore problems. Would a Moderator please move as appropriate.TIA

Windows 10 won´t start any program as Administrator

Hello. I´m having this issue since installed one of the latest Windows 10 system updates.

When I try to open any program that requires Administrator confirmation (that screen with the Yes/No question), this dialog won´t appear anymore. The screen background stays darkened and nothing happens.

1. Using Windows 10 Home (x64)
2. My microsoft user account is properly checked
3. I´m the administrator of the PC
4. Already tried do create another administrator user account - same problem, no success
5. Cannot start any program/service that requires administrator authorization (not even regedit)

Please help!

Windows XP PRO error after restore

System restore is handy when it works like it did for me 2 days ago saving the need to reinstall all of my software as well as windows, id suggest using norton Ghost 12 for an excellent system restore feature.
