Windows 10: My task bar is partially hidden when using mutliple displays

HiMy task bar is partially hidden when using multiple displays surface pro laptop screen and additonal monitor. I have used several different monitors and the same thing happens. There is also a space between the window e.g. chrome browser, powerpoint window, etc. and the task bar, even when the window has been "maximised". The task bar is only ever partially hidden on the screen that is selected as the "main display", which could either be the external screen or the surface pro laptop screen it makes no difference. I have tried changing the scale and the display resolution but it makes

• Right click on the Task Bar.
• Uncheck the option " Lock the Taskbar."

If the icon is hidden from the task bar, you can enable it by using the following steps. The icon might be hidden. Here's how to show the battery icon:

• Right-click an empty area on the taskbar, and then click
  Properties.
• Under Notification area, click
  Customize.
• In Notification Area Icons, click on Select
  which icons appear on Taskbar.
• On in the drop-down list next to
  Power, and then click OK.

If the issue still persists you can try Updating the latest Power management driver software for Windows 10 from the manufacturer website.

Should My HDD Be On The 'Safe To Eject' List On Task Bar Hidden Icons?

No, it certainly shouldn't be in the list of removable media, but I have seen a few others report seeing the same thing as you. Don't worry though, you won't be allowed to accidentally eject it because the system files will always be in use.
