Windows 10: My task bar isn't working or responding

Hi.....so my wifi stopped working on my windows 10....wifi was available but it wasn't getting connected..and there was no wifi option in settings...so I saw some tutorials in youtube for the solution ...I restarted the wlan auto config.. retsarted pc but nothing happend...the last option left was to reset network settings ....I did that and when my pc restarted it was fine but the task bar was not working ... Nothing in the task bar was working...the windows button ,the search bar nothing was working.. there were no icons also ..when I drag my cursor to it the cursor loads for an infinte amou

Printer isn´t working after latest update.

After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

 

Task Bar, Task manager and apps, all not responding, Windows 10

step 1 worked a dream. Had earlier tried everything suggested in these forums. nothing had worked to solve the problem. The media creation tool as suggested in step 1 did the trick. - it took several hours, but worth it.

ps. original complaint - non responding - and task manager - blank or useless.
