Windows 10: My task manager keeps closing after some time.

Hello!I always run my task manager and never close it, because I use it very often. But after some time, my task manager started to close itself, even though it was working properly.I ran sfc/scannow command in command prompt, which gave me no result.I also checked my computer for viruses, using RAV Endpoint Protection, no results.How do I stop task manager from closing itself?~Pro23.

No restart button in task manager

another easy way to kill tasks, download and install Winaero Tweaker(free) and theres a setting to add a Kill non responding tasks using the desktop right click menu. When you place your cursor on the desktop anywhere and right click the option is at the top of the list, Very handy and you dont have to go through all those steps and well Winaero Tweaker has alot of cool Windows tweaks. Just posting a different suggestion, Im sure your ok with what was suggested here.

  as the title said i found a file named FD_1.4.57.11.exe which closing my task manager and using my hardware resources , that makes my cpu work so high and his temperature getting hot

  The problem is starting it close my task manager but after i reopen the task manager , the file closed fd_1.4.57.11....i tried to keep the task manager open but after 8 minutes the file start working and it close my task manager
  
  after tracking this file i found it location in
  
  C:/ Windows/SysWOW64/Speech/Engines/Q-1-91-38
  
  but i can't access to this path "ACCESS IS DENIED"

  Can someone know what is that creepy file and how to eliminate it ?

Task Manager Locks USB Drives

Hi LuizScruz,

Thank your for the quick response.

I can rule out that the problem relates in an way to Windows Explorer. There is no foreground instance of WE running, and there are no other processes accessing files on the drive as well. Even shutting down WE via the task manager does not release the device. Only closing the task manager helps.

I may reproduce the problem by the following steps:

1. Insert the memory stick (i. e. USB drive) into the USB port.
   
2. Start the task manager.
   
3. Try to eject the drive safely. The error message pops up.
   
4. Close task manager.
   
5. Try to eject the drive safely again. The device is released instantly.
   

Interestingly, you must not reverse steps 1 and 2 to reproduce the error.

I suspect that the problem relates to task manager's monitoring of disk activities.
