  1. My taskbar Icons refuse to update

Hi, I've just updated to Windows 11. After recovering from finding out the toolbars are gone... I had to do the rename exe trick to put my shortcuts on the taskbar. I tried updating the Icons, clearing the cache and restarting windows but they won't update to my custom icons. Is there a work around to fix my icons please? I have to have my shortcuts on the taskbar/toolbar it makes life so much simpler. TIA

    :)
