Windows 10 Updating still does not work as of 10/22/16

KB3200970 is listed in Installed Updates and dated 11/8/16.
It is also listed in Update History with two lines:

    • KB3200970 Security Update for Adobe Flash Player “Successfully on 11/9/16”, and
    • Cumulative Update KB3200970 “Requires a restart to finish installing”
These are as of 6pm CST on 11/9/16.

  3. Windows 10 Updating still does not work as of 10/22/16

I don't understand. On 09 Nov-16, you told me, "KB3200970 is listed in
    Installed Updates
    and dated 11/8/16."

Now you tell me (I think) that "KB3200970 [is listed in Update History as being installed on] 11/8/16 and 11/9/16 [but] it isn’t [listed] in Installed Updates [now]." Is my interpretation correct or...?

COMMENT: If you're still running Windows 10 Version 1607 Build 14393.51, KB3200970 has not successfully installed/is not installed - no matter what Update History and/or Installed Updates has to say about it.

PS: Methinks the problem's on your end, not Microsoft's end.

Blank icons in taskbar on Windows 2016

    Hello,

For us to better assist you, we'd like to know the following:

    • Confirm which build is currently installed on your device. To check, follow the steps below:
    • Press Windows key + R, then type in winver.
    • Click OK.
    • Confirm the said application you're using so we could fully understand the cause of the issue.
    • Were there any recent changes made prior to this issue?

Meanwhile, we suggest restarting the Explorer.exe on the Task Manager. This may help resolve the issue with blank icons on the Taskbar. Refer to the steps below:

    1. Press Ctrl + Alt + Del, then select Task Manager.

    2. On the Task Manager window, click on More Details at the bottom left if it doesn't shows the
    Processes tab.

    3. Scroll down the list of the Windows processes and locate Windows Explorer and right-click on it and select
    Restart.

Note: The desktop icons and the Taskbar will refresh and will be gone for a moment after this process. It should reappear automatically.

We look forward to your response.

    Regards.
