Windows 10: My taskbar show white icon for some applications without any reason

Hi, I have my Windows 11 Pro PC, version 22H2, OS Build 22621.963 with taskbar that does not show some icons correctly.I mean, as example, I have my Microsoft Outlook shortcut correct icon on my desktop. I launch it and then when I select "pin to taskbar" a generic white icon is generated on taskbar instead of the classic Microsoft Outlook icon.This occurs since months.How can I solve it?I called the Italian Microsoft support, they indicated me to reinstall Windows 11 starting from the multipack iso and leaving programs and data but the issue still occurs. System Icons on taskbar

Hi,

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Communities.

Are you referring to the clock system icon on the taskbar?

If so, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

• 
  Click on the search bar on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Type system icons.
  
• 
  Under Turn System Icons ON or OFF, turn On the Clock and check with the issue.

white line under icons on taskbar

icons on taskbar in windows 10 has a white line under all programs list in it that are open, is there a way of removing it?

 

Windows APPS ICON NOT SHOWING PROPERLY on taskbar


It's been couple of days since I upgraded my system to Windows 10 from Windows 7. Everything is working fine except this nasty error. If I pin apps to taskbar or run apps , the app icons on the taskbar are shown as white square. And I am seeing the same thing on Apps & Feature settings list. The icons are there but as the backgrounds are shown as grey-white chequered pattern (for the transparency ), it looks like white squares. Rebuilt the icon cache but to no avail.



And on the start menu everything looks fine.
