My Telestream wirecast live streaming software version 14 is crashing after connecting an hdmi cable to the computer or to extend it to external screen.Now windows 10 has also started crashing now and then. Is it a motgerboard issue or graphic card issue.I have already reinstalled windows on my comoyterIts a g7 dell computer

Windows 10 Remote Desktop Session - Sound stops when disconnect

Microsoft: Please fix this!

We are using Telestream Wirecast to stream video/audio from a remote location. We operate the system remotely using RDP. Our clients are configured correctly to play audio on the remote system. However, upon disconnecting from the RDP session, the audio
input is disabled and cannot be recovered without stopping the stream, closing Wirecast, restarting the application, and restarting the stream.

We have been using RDP with Wirecast for several years and version of Windows back to Windows 8. In our case, the normal and expected functionality would be that the audio would continue playing into the remote computer (via line input) once the RDP connection
was closed.

The expected behavior was broken following the update to Windows 10 Anniversary Update. All software is up to date on client and server (streaming) system.

Although I suspect it doesn't matter, we are using Realtek audio hardware on this system. Are other people using different hardware/drivers? If so, this may further point to the RDP server in Windows 10 being the culprit.

Getting started with live events in Stream

We've made a simple step-by-step guide to help you create your first live event! Just open Microsoft Stream and select Create > Live event to get started.

What can I use to connect my live broadcast?

From studio production setups with multiple cameras, microphones, and content sources, to desktop webcam and screen sharing applications, Microsoft Stream will help you deliver events of any type. To connect your cameras, microphones and content sources, Microsoft Stream has an easy setup flow with some of our great partners such as Haivision KB and Makito encoders, Switcher Studio, Wirecast and Wirecast S! Looking for more configuration settings? We allow for manually configuring too from your supported application or device; just remember to follow the recommended settings.

Who can create live events?

By default, everyone in your organization with an assigned license plan (listed here) can create a live event - so get started today! If you are a Microsoft Stream administrator, you can make changes to settings and manage who can create events, see active live events, and see upcoming events in your organization. You have control over all live events in Microsoft Stream - so you can start, stop, modify and delete events. Check out the live events administration documentation to learn more.

Optimizing video delivery within your network

For organizations that want to reduce internet traffic and optimize network bandwidth for live events and popular videos, Microsoft Stream can be enabled to integrate with video delivery providers offering SDN/eCDN solutions. Our partners, Hive, Kollective, and Ramp, can help deliver a more scalable and efficient video distribution across your enterprise network. Replacing your video after the event

Coming soon, Microsoft Stream will allow you to replace your video after your live event has ended. This allows you to upload an updated version of the event video to remove front and back bumpers typically seen with a live event, or edit and add content that happened during the event.
