    My Terminal keeps opening every 30-20 seconds C:\ProgramData\SystemUpdate.exe


    Whenever i turn on my pc Windows 11 every 30-20 seconds my terminal keep opens and closes instantly, its so annoying, when i checked the terminals tab name they say this C:\ProgramData\SystemUpdate.exe i tried to delete the SystemUpdate On Windows K + R key: shell:startup but its not helping anyways, please help me

    nothing works for around 20-30 seconds on startup

    When I turn on my computer (whether its waking up from sleep, restart or shutdown) , nothing words for 20-30 seconds. The windows search bar bugs out and becomes an opaque box that stays there for a while. After 20-30 seconds everything suddenly works. No programs load for the 20-30 seconds, sometimes the search bar does work but it seems to be every 1/4 times.

    Also whenever I launch any kind of browser it takes 20-30 seconds for the browser to be functional, I type something in and it takes 20-30 seconds for the search to actually show the page. (this is anytime i launch a browser, not just on pc startup)

    This started a few months ago and I have tried everything to fix it but nothing has worked

    My specs are quiet new; i5-12400f, 16 gigs of ram, rtx 3060, m.2 ssd

    things I've tried (which didn't work)

    -Sfc scans

    -Chkdsk

    -trying new ram sticks and switching them out incase its a memory issue

    -disabling page file

    -re-installing chrome (to try fix the browser startup issue)

    -re-installing windows from the iso (without deleting my data)

    -installing the newest drivers

    -dism scan

    I've tried so many things that haven't worked, if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated

    Hi,

    The ProgramData folder is usually located in the C: drive of your device. To locate the ProgramData folder, you can perform the following:

    • In File Explorer, click on the View tab.
    • Click on Options.
    • In the Folder Options window, click on the View tab.
    • Under the Hidden files and folders, select Show hidden files, folders, or drives.
    • Click on Apply.
    • Click on OK.

    Let us know how it goes after you've performed the steps.
