  1. my terrible windows experience

I want you to please for a total of a few seconds think from my view and try to feel what I feel and please try to relate

my installation got so bad, so corrupted, so whacked I was forced to reinstall. As we all know a clean install is the road to a healthy windows, yeah right.

so before i reinstalled I had network access across the board, i can access my shares and yadda yadda.

i reinstall following the MVP god windows 10 installation thread, which I followed to the tee two years ago and this is the installation and after two years it got too bad

i reinstall and I have no access to one particular share. I click on the computer in network locations and it says access denied. No idea as to why.

I truly and utterly, and literally applied everything single possible solution, literally, all of them. There is not one thing any one in this forum can possibly recommended because I literally applied or tried to apply every fix and all failed.

Microsoft themselves can not fix this, tried

    mindtree can not fix this,
i already came on here and asked and got no where
i tried on technet and not one person cared enough to even respond
i tried all helps on spiceworks, nothing
i even gave feedback and 2 months later nothing, they do not care

the close i got was in the three way handshake, the ack is not being acknowledge. that is the issue

now here is where it gets great.

this is my day now after reinstalling windows following the higher powers god given windows 10 tut:

i have to reset workstation service up to 75 times a day. I am not allowed to even close the services page. I reset workstation service. I click on network computer it asks for pin and I get in. Then after a randomly indecisive amount of time it will stop. I am in the shares, press back sometimes it says can't find, access denied some error. I reset workstation service and it works. I can not even watch a 20 minute TV episode over the share, 5 minutes in, 10 minutes in half way through, again randomly it will stop playing. I still have the folder open and I double click the file and guess what? file not found. I reset the work station service and all works fine.

After two months of dealing with this I am about to lose my %^&*

I just reinstalled 5 computers back at end of july/august and I have zero time to deal with this.

This is literally just more and more proof of how bad windows really is. You can not fix windows, it has nothing and zero to do with the install and this is just sad. Truly sad with have a senior company of 40 years with a trillion dollar r and d and 100,000 employees and a bunch of nerds with zero budget in grandmas basement came making something 10x better. makes no sense and it is further proof that all this, this entire windows farce is all on purpose. It has to be. windows has to be purposely doing this. But then again not one thing related to MS even actually works; azure, office, bing, none of them work. I do not get it.

    :)

  2. Terrible first experience!

I had an Acer Laptop, a very good laptop that I had for about one year. I downloaded 10 as soon as I received the notification that I could do it. It destroyed my laptop -- everything from taking the fastest start speed I had ever seen -- from off to facebook
within 30 seconds -- to changing my screen bright/dim control to the opposite. What I mean by that was that when I slid the control to brighter, the screen dimmed, when I slid to dimmer, the screen brightened. Within 1-2 weeks the computer barely worked.

Luckily, that computer was stolen -- he says wittily. Now I have a little $172 HP Stream, the little blue one, which I really like a lot. I wish it had more than 2 gig ram, but I like everything else about it. I'm a writer and I need my little laptop every
day for 12 hours or so. The first experience after the 10 download, maybe 3 months ago, was such a terrible experience I am very hesitant to re-download.

    Any suggestions?

    Terrible Powercolor RMA experience

Thanks for the suggestion FreedomEclipse. I bought the card online and I've been told that I must handle the warranty with the manufacturer.
If you're going to buy a non-PCS Powercolor card then I would probably recommend buyers beware, my experience with customer support has been very poor. PCS Card owners seem to get priority, as noted here PowerColor, and so perhaps the customer support is much better for these cards. But it is disconcerting that they would have two drastically different customer support standards. I sent an e-mail to the addresses listed in my first post explaining the situation. Hopefully they'll answer this time.
