Windows 10: My text cursor keeps going to the left side and I can't click on some icons on the home screen.

Good day! I need help.


My laptop suddenly won't type properly and the text cursor keeps going to the left most or right most when typing in some keyboard keys.There are times when the keyboard is working kinda well the icons I click on my home screen clicks on the top left icon.



I tried running a security scan but there was nothing found. I already did restart and reboot my laptop and redownloading windows 10 but somehow the problem is still there. I tried to use another keyboard but the same problem happens.


I keep searching for questions similar to my problems but there was none so I tried the other solutions but it doesn't work. I can't bring my laptop to a shop yet since we are being quarantined.


My laptop is pretty old so it may be a factor of this problem.

Cannot put icons on the left side of my desktop

Hi Charlie,

You should be able to arrange your desktop icons however you want. Since you want them all aligned on the left side of your desktop screen, we suggest that you follow these steps:

• Right-click at a blank area on your desktop.
• Hover on View.
• In the right pane, look for Auto arrange icons. If it's checked, make sure to uncheck it.
• Hover again on View.
• This time, check Align icons to grid. Your icons should now be aligned on the left side of the screen.

Lumia Icon (929) texting on T-Mobile

I have a Lumia Icon (929) running Windows 10 Mobile that was on Verizon. I can text, but it will not send or receive pictures. I have talked with T-Mobile techs, but no solution. From that and my own searching, I think it has to do with my APN settings,
or perhaps that the IMS status is not registered. Any Lumia Icon users out there on T-Mobile with any suggestions? Thanks,
