Windows 10: My Toshiba Satellite Windows 10 lost it's ability to output to HDMI port

After Windows update last month, the HDMI output stopped working. The drivers have been updated for the display adapter. nothing has worked, the PC still can not detect any HDMI device or even see the HDMI port. How do I get it back?

Force Display Output via HDMI Port

Windows 10 Question: The goal is to display two screens (same video screen) from the computer to two projectors for a presentation using Power Point Slides. Attaching to one projector works fine, but when I attach a HDMI splitter to hook up the second
projector, the computer no longer detects the display and will use the HDMI port as an output.



Thus, can you force a video output from the HDMI port using Windows 10.

I have the same problem with my Toshiba Satellite but I can not find Toshiba wares on my computer. Can you give me the steps to find this? Thanks for the info I have been going crazy trying to figure this out.

1. What is the make and model of BlueRay/DVD player and gaming console ?


2. Are you trying to connect this devices through HDMI Port?

3. Do you get any error message?


4. What exactly do you mean by connecting Blueray/DVD and gaming console to use as a monitor?

Method 1: Run Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter

Follow these steps to run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter:

• Press Windows key + X and click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Click Hardware and Devices.
• Follow the on-screen instruction to run the troubleshooter.

Method 2: I suggest you to check for latest drivers for the device he is trying to connect.
