Windows 10: My touchpad is lagging on an Acer Nitro 5

My touchpad randomly begins lagging. When it happens, it's like my touchpad is a bluetooth mouse. There is a delay that makes the mouse very hard to use. It used to only happen after I had been watching a Disney+ movie in full-screen. When I exited the movie, the touchpad would lag. I looked it up, and it seemed people had solved it by turning the touchpad on and off again with F2 - and for a time, that worked for me. However, yesterday, my touchpad began to lag again. I was confused, as I hadn't been watching anything. I tried to turn it off and on again. It seemed to work, but fifteen second

Acer Nitro 5 Camera not detected

Hello, where can I download a windows 10 generic camera driver? Because for some strange reason, windows deemed it necessary to delete my acer nitro 5 webcam driver. And before you tell me all your "fixes" don't, I've tried everything except resort back to my previous version of windows, which I don't want to do. SO can someone link a backup acer nitro 5 camera driver? thanks

 

Realtek Audio Console on Acer Nitro 5

Hello all. I recently noticed that my Acer Nitro 5 was no longer detecting any headset devices and I am unable to get any input via the mic (and have also borrowed other headsets from the original one I had, all of which have the single 3.5mm jack which
works with the Acer Nitro 5's single audio input). I am also only getting this when I pull up the Realtek Audio Console:



What steps should I take to resolve this issue?

Hi TN. I'm Greg, an installation specialist, 10 year Windows MVP, and Volunteer Moderator here to help you.

Go into BIOS/UEFI Setup to see if you can set the onboard chip to default. You can power on while pressing the Acer F1 or ESC key. Older models may use F2. This may be listed on the BIOS splash screen.

If you don't get a display for the BIOS even, then I'd reinstall the Nvidia card and properly disable it in BIOS setup before removing it this time.
