Windows 10: My touchpad isn't showing up in Deivce manger or in settings.

Hi there.I seem to be having troubles with my touchpad. 1 week ago my touchpad was fine but now when I try to use my touchpad the cursor doesn't appear I have reset my computer 10 times and I do not want to reset the pc. When I search up touchpad in settings it doesn't appear and it doesn't appear in device manger either. When I put a usb port into my computer the touchpad cursor appears for 2 mins than disappears again. my computer is a pavilion x360 convertible 14m-dw0xxx I am on windows 11. I have never experienced this issue before and don't know what to do I cant do anything on my comput

Printer isn´t working after latest update.

After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

 

I want to disable touchpad on Dell laptop


Hello everyone,
My laptop's touchpad works and I don't want it to, because I prefer a mouse. It's a Dell Inspiron 11 3000 series on windows 10 OS.

What I have tried that hasn't worked:

• start<settings<devices<mouse & touchpad<additional mouse options. This opens a window called Mouse Options which has 5 tabs up top, none of which involve the touchpad. The Hardware tab shows 2 devices: the mouse itself, and the USB. No touchpad there.
• windows key+x<mobility center. No touchpad to be found.
• various function keys. No options for touchpad on/off.
• device manager<mice and other pointing devices. Again, only the mouse and usb show up. It appears the touchpad is working without a driver, which is a little spooky.

Any other suggestions? I could try downloading a third party driver, but that seems like a step in the wrong direction.

Method 1:

Try pressing Fn (Function key) + F3 default keys which is used to disable touchpad and verify the result.

Method 2:

You may try uninstalling the touchpad drivers from Device Manager and restart the computer.

Follow the steps to uninstall the Graphics card driver:

• Press Windows + X keys and then click
  Device Manger.
• Search for Pointing Devices.
• Right click the Touchpad (it may be listed as Synaptic touchpad) and click uninstall.
• Follow the prompt and restart the computer
