Windows 10: My touchpad suddenly stopped working on my Inspiron 15

I bought this computer this weekend, it's a Dell Inspiron 15 3530, windows 11, its fresh out of the box. The touchpad was working fine until about two hours ago. I have restarted my computer, it did not fix the problem. i have checked settings, touchpad is said to be on. I have also attempted to go into device manager to update the driver but I cannot find a touchpad anywhere in that, I am sure that is the problem. Under "Mice and other pointing devices" there are 2 "HID- compliant mouse" options and when trying to update the drive it says "The best drivers for your device are already installe

Dell Inspiron Touchpad Not Working - Windows 11

The touchpad suddenly stopped working. It was working when the laptop booted up but then stopped and I am having to use an external mouse. Looking in Settings and Device Manager, I cannot find any reference to Touchpad or any Touchpad drivers. It appears to have been uninstalled completely. Do I need to reinstall new drivers? It's an Inspiron 15 3000.

Touchpad Inspiron 15 Support

Hi, so I was just playing with my friends a game and then suddenly my Touchpad was not working. I thought it was a virus because I recently downloaded a thing which allows me too play something. I thought I just turned the Touchpad off, so I just put it in the charger, I wait like a hour and hope that it works. But it doesn't, the only way I came here is because I am using a very old mouse that doesn't work. Please help me find the solution. Please and Thank you.

Touchpad gestures not working - Windows 10 - Dell Inspiron 15 5000 series

Hello everyone!

I bought a Dell Inspiron 15 5000 series a week ago, and in the beginning everything worked fine and then suddenly the touchpad gestures stopped working. I mean I can still move the cursor, but I cannot use the 2-finger scroll etc

I might have turned those off accidentally, but I cannot find a way to go back there.

Can you help me?
