Windows 10: My UMBus Enumerator is showing up as an unknown device with no driver

just noticed it in device manager, I tried searching autocratically for driver software
here is its instance path:
TS_USB_HUB_ENUMERATOR\UMB\2&30D3618&1&TS_USB_HUB

I saw an old post on wn7 forums suggesting to check for these 3 files:

C:\Windows\inf\umbus.inf
C:\Windows\inf\umbus.pnf
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\umbus.sys

the first 2 are there but the last one is not, not sure if its meant to be in win10 though

any idea where I can find a driver for it and where I can find a copy of that file if I need it?

windows 10 build is build 18363.295

IDE & UMbus root bus Enumerator

I am running windows 10 pro and my IDE has no properties showing and there is 6 event entries for the UMbus root bus Enumerator and my RW drive is not working. any help on this would be great.

 

X800 GTO2 = Unknown Device

I flashed the BIOS on my X800 GTO2 last night and it is listed in the Device Manager as an Unknown Device. Is this normal?

Maybe it's time to step back from the current efforts, and start over. I suggest you read over this excellent tutorial and try all of its steps: [Solved] Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed) for Windows 10 - Driver Easy. The one that may provide you with some easy relief is the one where you uninstall the device whose descriptor is failing, reboot, and see what happens when device enumeration recurs during boot-up. If you're lucky, it will fix itself.
