Windows 10: My usb-c wired head phones will not work or be recognized when plugged into the usb-c port...

My USB-C wired head phones will not work or be recognized when plugged into the USB-C port on my windows 11 laptop which is only a couple months old. I have run the troubeshooter, many times. I have restarted the computer. I have looked up the articles, but I can not seem to fix this issue. I am starting to believe it is a missing driver, so seeking out the correct driver and downloading it is my next step. But that brings me to the question, why on earth would a computer that is practically brand new not be equipped with the technology that supports USB-C plug in devices? You would think it w

Internal microphone no longer working after headphones were plugged in via USB-C port

As the title suggest, my internal microphone no longer works (and I believe it is no longer recognized) after I plugged in headphones into a hub that was plugged into USB-C port. Any suggestions?

 

Wired headphones are not working when plugged into USB-C

My wired USB-C headphones don't play any sound when plugged into the USB-C outlet for my computer. I tried uninstalling the driver, updating drivers, restarting. The headphones are recognized as a device under sound settings, but not playing any sounds. I have a dell XPS 13 if that is helpful. Is there any way I can fix it?
