Windows 10: My USB drive has somehow lost 96 GB after i used a media creation tool.

My usb drive has lost 96 GB after i installed windows 10 on it. It used to be 128gb usb drive, but now after i installed windows 10 from it, its somehow 32gb now?I deleted all the installation files on the drive, and i wanted to use it again to store some other files, but i noticed it went down to 32 gb?Also, i tried to insert a screenshot on here but it wouldn't let me? Anyways, i need to somehow get it back to 128 gb?

Media Creation Tool

It was really surprising; when I tried to use Media Creation Tool to reinstall Win 10 every times after download the software shown error 0x80042405-0xa001b, AND after that my USB drive has lost its half of capacity ( from initial 64 GB to 32 GB). I encountered
that situation for three different and absolutely new USB drives.
I would like to understand the following:
1. Why I could use the Media Creation Tool to download it to USB drive?
2. How could I correct the capacity of the USB drives?

 

Media creation tool not detecting USB drive

I wanted to upgrade my 120 GB SSD to 256 GB SSD.

So i needed to get the media creation tool to get windows on the flash drive. (16 GB)

It will always say ''There is 8 GB storage needed on (C'' even though i selected to download wiondows onto the flash drive with 16 GB available.

I have tried placing the the ''Media creation tool on the USB drive itself and also running the tool as an administrator.

Neither one of these worked.

Anyone knows what the reason could be?

 

Media Creation Tool

I'm having an issue with the media creation tool where it won't install or even give me a list of usb drives at all. Even if I tried running it from inside the usb flash drive it still says the same thing "you need 8 gb of available space on Windows C)". I'm having this issue on the HP stream 11 laptop.
