Windows 10: My usb headphones arent producing sound

I just got a new pc and plugged in my new USB wireless headphones, but they didnt produce any sound. Before I got this pc my other one had been fine with the headphones, and it says that the headphones are picking up audio but there is still nothing. How do I fix this?

My bluetooth headphones connect but they arent recognized as an audio device

Thank you for the tips, however removing the device and adding it back from bluetooth settings didnt make a difference, and when i go into sound settings my headphones arent even listed as an option even though they are connected.

I tried to add the headphones through the sound settings but it doesnt detect them

 

Headphones not producing sound

I got a pair of earbuds said to work with my computer. I plugged them in and the sound wont produce through the earbuds, but the speakers. I can hear it through the speakers on the computer, but not the earbuds. The same thing also happened to my headphones.
Is there something wrong with the computer? I have a windows 8 Gateway laptop.
