Windows 10: My user profile became "Desktop" after moving Desktop from my disk D to disk C

    Hello, I found out my Desktop folder was on my disk D so I opened its properties and change the location to C:/Users/Kasi3 which was my profile's name. Then two pop-ups appear to confirm moving but I didn't read them correctly. Now when I go to the C:/Users folder, my "Kasi" account is now named as "Desktop" with the desktop icon as well. In the "Share" tab I can see its real name, but it is still the Desktop in other ways. Also all folders like "Download", "Favorites", hidden AppData etc appeared on my real desktop. I am not sure what did I wrong, but I am here for the help, please. How can I

  2. Pc changed from D: drive desktop to C: drive desktop

    1 Hour ago i had a Blue Screen Of Death (win32kbase.sys failed) and said it was corrupted , after automatic repair was done , all my pc was changed to my Local disk C: folder instead of D: , like I was using a different desktop wwhere all my apps were (On disk DMy user profile became "Desktop" after moving Desktop from my disk D to disk C :) and now I am back on the disk C: , all my Disk D: files are still on the desktop folder but not on my visual desktop when i open my PC.Can i have the Disk D: desktop files on my main desktop when i open my PC?

    Can i somehow do something in Registry Editor and move to desktop D: drive?

    Im in this location:Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders

    I want to have my desktop on the D: Drive because disk C: is almost full
