Windows 10: My users folder is clogged

So for a year my users folder has been clogged, at first I didn't think much of it, now I think something is off. They are mostly named defaultuser.X or something like thatI put a checkmark beside the accounts I recognise. My computers name is "ANTHGODZ"I am confused why so many, on my old computer there was only one "default" account. Now there are like 10This started short after I purchased my new computer in may 2022

Vista Ultimate - 'User' Folder Location

No tried that.

Can copy the entire folder to D; but Windows still points to C as the location. Can change personal folders location to a folder on D;, but this still leaves hidden files etc on C;. Thus meaning there are 2 Users folders. Have managed to change the Public folder location to D;, with some registry tweaks, but this doesnt seem to work for the entire folder.

The other reason I suggested this is that users can add characters to their username that are not alphanumeric (e.g. user*). This confuses things somewhat when looking at the list.
