Windows 10: My Victus 15'6" laptop had a windows update corrupt, I fixed the update but my speaker...

My laptop had a windows update that corrupted, went to bit locker and had to use cmd prompt to fix it. That's all fixed now, but my laptops internal speakers don't work anymore!! I've updated the drivers in both settings and device manager, and it said nothing was found. I did find something in windows manager however, and I think it could help someone who knows what their doing. Under the events category of the speaker in device manager, it states exactly this as the most recent event."Device settings for SWD\MMDEVAPI\{0.0.0.00000000}.{feacdb27-5825-4f4d-9634-2c2799ccc165} were not migrated f

Windows XP SP3: Windows Update fix

Fix? What's that? Windows XP updated to SP3 fine on my laptop without anything extra.

Oh. Your "Registry" must have gotten screwed up FLY3R. If for some reason you couldn't download your updates I suppose you could go to the update site, and run throught the steps 'till it fails activation. Then you could go up to "Tools > Manage Add ons > then disable "Windows Genuine Advatage Validation Tool." Of course you should only use this method if you are having problems updating your legitamate copy of Windows XP. Perhaps do to a corrupted piece of software? *Smile

 

FIXED!! Windows 7 sp1 never ends searching for updates

Check the date on the one you thought it was. Nov 4 2015 <-That's not June
