I got the mouse last month and started using it, after a week later my touchpad just stopped working. I went to settings and turned it off and went to device manager and updated anything I needed to update in it. It still won't again.

  2. Wireless Mouse stops working when external HDD plugged in to USB3 port

I have a minor but annoying problem and can't find a solution....

My wireless mouse stops working when an external USB3 HDD is plugged in to USB3 port. The mouse is about 3 feet away from the receiver.

My mouse is a Logitech M310.

    • I don't have the problem if a USB 2 external HDD is connected to either a USB2 or USB3 port.
    • I have moved the mouse receiver to different ports on both the front and back of the computer but this doesn't change anything.
    • If I move the mouse very close to the receiver (a couple of inches), it works so it seems that the wireless range is reduced when the USB3 HDD is plugged in.
    • If I connect a wired mouse, it works fine.
    • I have 2 USB3 ports and the problem is the same on both.
    • If the USB3 HDD is connected to a USB2 port, the mouse works normally.
    • I changed the battery in the mouse but this didn't help.
    • the USB3 HDD is a WD Passport that is self powered through the USB port.

    Any suggestions?

  3. Wireless mouse and touchpad stop working often

    Hi John,

I have tried the suggested solutions, but they don't seem to work for long.

I have the Lenovo IdeaPad 5-14ITL05 Laptop - Type 82FE. I have had a lot of issues with my laptop since it was upgraded to Windows 11. Initially, it was the wireless connectivity issues, and now it is the touchPad and mouse issues.

    Best regards,

Wireless mouse and touchpad stop working often

    Hi Shruthi,

I am , a fellow Microsoft user like you.

I understand that dealing with frequent issues with your wireless mouse and touchpad can be frustrating and disruptive to your work.

There could be a few reasons behind this problem, but one possibility is that your touchpad driver may be missing or outdated. To address this, I suggest updating or reinstalling your touchpad drivers through Device Manager.

Additionally, you can check if your touchpad is enabled by using keyboard shortcuts like F6 or Fn + F6, or by accessing the touchpad settings in Windows.

It might be helpful to try connecting your wireless mouse to another device to see if the issue persists. This will help determine if the problem lies with the mouse itself or with your laptop. Please ensure that the battery of your wireless mouse is fully charged.

To provide more accurate assistance, could you please let me know the make and build of your laptop? This information will help me guide you to the correct Touchpad Driver for Windows 11 (64-bit), which you can download from the Lenovo Support website.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns. Let's work together to resolve the issue.

    Best regards,
