    my videos and tv look like exrays. How do i change it?


    when I change the background on my pc it some how changed made movies and tv look like exrays. how can i change this?I have tried windows tips , nothing works. What can i do to fix it?

    I can't get a video to stream to my lg smart tv in full screen , it's playing full screen on the pc no problem

    Hi Steve,

    To assist you better, I like to know; how exactly you are trying to stream video from your PC to LG Smart TV?

    As an initial step, I suggest you to try updating the display adapter on your system.

    Follow the below steps:

    • Click on the Start button, and type Device Manager on the search bar.
    • Open Device Manager, expand Display Adapters.
    • Find and double-click Display Adapters from the left panel to update.
    • Right-click the device, and click Update.

    As you are able to play the video full screen in your PC, then it might be an issue related to LG Smart TV. I suggest you to check for the LG Smart TV manual and check what all settings need to done to play video in full screen.

    Laptopc can´t connect to TV

    Hi,

    Please reply to the questions mentioned below in order to assist you in a better way.

    • Are you connecting the PC and TV using a HDMI cable?
    • Did you make any changes prior to the issue?

    I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

    • First you need a video cable for making the physically connection. For better picture quality, you should connect the computer to the TV using standard VGA ports or via the DVI to HDMI cable provided your TV supports these ports.
    • Open the "display settings" in your computer and activate output to the TV screen. You can either mirror content of your computer on the TV or extend the display just like a dual monitor screen.
    • Pick up your TV remote and switch to "External Inputs" from the menu. You will need to change the default "Video 1" to a different selection which may be "HDMI 1" or "Video 2" depending on how you have made the connection.

    Important: Make sure you connect the cable to the TV before turning on the computer as sometimes it may fail to recognize external display.

    You may also need to change the screen resolution of your TV using the Display settings in your Control Panel else the picture may appear distorted.

    Please revert if you face any issues with PC not connecting to TV.

    For us to properly isolate the issue in connecting to your TV, we would like to know the following:

    • Are you getting any error messages? If yes, what is the exact error message?
    • To make sure that we have not missed on anything, what troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

    There is a possibility that the video card driver is not fully compatible with the latest Windows version. We suggest that you try uninstalling your video card driver; then restart your computer. Once you're done, install the latest driver from the manufacturer's
    website.
