Windows 10: My virus protection search history shows this Problem: PUA:AndroidOS/ZkarletPlush

I once downloaded something by mistake, which I then uninstalled immediately. It was also detected and blocked by the antivirus program. As far as I know, it's only dangerous if I connect an Android device to my laptop. However, I don't know whether the problem still exist or the antivirus program has already deleted it.I can't find find the affected files and don't if they have already been deleted or not.

My virus & threat protection is not showing

I am writing to seek assistance with a problem related to Windows Virus and Threat Protection on my PC. Unfortunately, the feature has become invisible, and I am unable to access it.

Issue Details:

• Operating System: Windows 11
  
• Problem: Windows Security (Virus and Threat Protection) is not visible.
  

Steps Taken: I have tried the following troubleshooting steps:

1. Restarted my PC.
   
2. Checked Group Policy settings.
   
3. Reset Windows Security app.
   
4. Ran SFC and DISM commands.
   

However, the issue persists. I kindly request your guidance on resolving this matter. Could you please provide instructions or further steps to restore Windows Virus and Threat Protection?

 

Security Threats Under Virus & threat protection and Protection History

This could be a problem in the Windows Defender protection history when a threat is already removed and keep showing the alert. Clearing the Windows Defender history should fix this problem.

Step 1:

1-Right-click on Start and click on Run

2-Type: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Scans\History and click on OK

3-Open the Service folder, select all files inside it and delete them

4-Close the file explorer

Step 2:

1-Click on Start, search for Windows Security, and click on that

2-Click on Virus & Threat protection then click on Manage settings

3-Toggle the button to Off and then to On again, for Real-Time protection and Cloud-delivered protection

IE11 Google Toolbar no auto search suggestions, no search history?

Since the last Win 10 update my Google Toolbar won't list any search suggestions as I type and there is no search history listed. The Google tool bar will allow a search, but after a few searches no search history shows and no "clear search" button is listed either.

I have turnd on "Suggest searches as you type", and "store search histroy on my computer" in the Google Toolbar options.

Any suggestions to fix this?
