    My voice on Windows.


    Hey. Every time I set my microphone to 44100 or 48000 Hz, it becomes a high-pitched voice. When I set to 96000 Hz or more, it's normal. What can I do?

    P.S - I reinstalled Windows not because of this problem and it continues. And I know the problem it's not with my headset, because i used another one and the problem happens too.


    CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600

    GPU: Nvidia GTX 1660

    Motherboard: Asrock A320-M
    PSU: a 500W PSU

    HDD: A 1TB Seagate HDD

    SSD: a 120GB Kingston SSD

    Are there any other voices for Narrator in the Ease of Access in Windows 10?

    Hi Melody,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.


    • Type narrator in the search bar and press enter.

    • Click on voices

    • And select find other voices that work with Narrator.

    • When you tell voice recognition what are you referring to?

    • Are you referring to voice recorder or Windows speech recognition?


    I would suggest you to run the run the inbuilt app troubleshooter.

    Follow the steps:


    • Press “Windows” + “X” and select Control Panel.

    • Select Troubleshooting and select View all on left hand side of the screen.

    • Select the Windows Store App and follow the instruction to troubleshoot.
