My volume on my tablet stopped working and I'm unsure how to fix it. It just has an x over the sound icon at the bottom bar of screen.

Fixing (\\?\Volume{xxxx}) every start up

I tried following Megahert'z suggestions and it didn't work. I have no idea how to do this stuff unfortunately, so all I can do is follow steps. "When I type format fs=NTFS quick it returns with: There is no volume selected. Please select a volume and try again. It does say Partition 1 is now the selected partition after the previous step." <-- this is what happened. - - - Updated - - - Is there someone I can hire to remote in and just fix the issue? I would be very happy and willing to do that.

 

Fusion 5 tablet stuck on restart

It sounds like your Fusion 5 tablet is stuck in a boot loop. This can be caused by a number of factors, including a software update gone wrong, a corrupted operating system, or a hardware issue.

Here are some steps you can try to fix your tablet:

1. Force restart your tablet. To do this, press and hold the power button for at least 30 seconds. If your tablet restarts, try turning it on normally.
   
2. Boot your tablet into safe mode. Safe mode is a diagnostic mode that starts your tablet with only the essential software running. To boot your tablet into safe mode, follow these steps:
   
   • Press and hold the power button until the tablet turns off.
     
   • Press and hold the power button again until the Fusion logo appears.
     
   • When the Fusion logo appears, release the power button and immediately press and hold the volume down button.
     
   • Continue holding the volume down button until the tablet boots into safe mode.
     
   If your tablet boots into safe mode, you can try uninstalling any recently installed apps or updates that may be causing the boot loop.
   
3. Factory reset your tablet. If none of the above steps work, you may need to factory reset your tablet. This will erase all of your data, so be sure to back up your important files before proceeding. To factory reset your tablet, follow these steps:
   
   • Press and hold the power button until the tablet turns off.
     
   • Press and hold the power button and the volume up button at the same time.
     
   • Continue holding the power button and the volume up button until the tablet boots into the recovery menu.
     
   • Use the volume down button to navigate to the “Wipe data/factory reset” option.
     
   • Press the power button to select the “Wipe data/factory reset” option.
     
   • Use the volume down button to navigate to the “Yes – delete all user data” option.
     
   • Press the power button to select the “Yes – delete all user data” option.
     
   Your tablet will now begin the factory reset process. Once the process is complete, your tablet will reboot.
   

If you have tried all of the above steps and your tablet is still stuck in a boot loop, you may need to contact Fusion customer support for assistance.

Note:

• If your tablet is under warranty, you may be able to get it repaired or replaced for free.
  
• If your tablet is not under warranty, you may need to pay for repairs.
