Windows 10: my WAP is damaged

hi i am not able to manage my files in the file explorer whenever i try to move my file its showing error 0x80004005 which is WAP problem. it is showing my WAP is damaged or my anti virus software intefares with it. how do i find out the problem?

Restarted the laptop, made no difference tried all the suggested I.P addresses......

don’t see why....don’t suppose there is a way of finding out the I.P. Address of the WAP in case I remembered it wrong ?....don’t want to reset it really, it does work as a WAP with MY router and my friends....so,it’s configured ok, just need to access it to change the SSID.....can’t be that difficult can it ?

HELP - Connect router downstream of WAP to create a subnet?

OK, I'm working offsite. I am given access access to the internet via wireless "g". That's all dandy for my laptop, but:

I want to create a small local network (private to me) so that I can network 4 devices PC, printer, NAS and a small ISDN-over-Internet telephone.

Is it possible to get a regular WAP to access the main network, then configure a mini-network behind the WAP using NAT? Or do I run into all kinds of DHCP and NAT issues that will fail my setup?

How do I turn off WAP mode?

I understand that you want to browse desktop versions of websites that you visit using Internet Explorer mobile. Please follow these steps:

• Open Internet Explorer
• Click on three dots (...) present on bottom right corner
• Go to Settings
• Change website preference to "desktop version".

Now you will be taken full blown, desktop version of the websites and not WAP/mobile ones.
