When you indicate the webcam records inverted, do you mean in the left to right direction, if so that is the default for most webcams, the left and right sides are reversed and very few webcams have the ability to flip the video, check if there is any software installed for your webcam that can flip the recordings.

What app(s) are you using your webcam with?

I understand that the web cam image is inverted. We will assist you to resolve the issue.

This could be due to driver conflicts or changes in the settings.

To assist you better, I would like to know whether you had installed webcam software.

If you are using Asus software, see if the software has an option to flip/adjust camera frames (e.g. options => video Capture Filter > flip the image).

If the issue persists, I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the webcam driver and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

1. Press “Windows key + X” and click on “Device Manager”.

2. In the list of devices, you should see the camera Drivers.
Mainly under imaging devices.

3. Right click on the device and then select "Uninstall".

4. In the uninstall dialog, make sure you select the option to delete the driver package from the system. This causes the driver package installed earlier to be deleted.

5. In the Action menu of Device manager, select “Scan for Hardware changes” option. This will cause the device driver to be reinstalled. Once the driver is installed, close all windows and restart the computer.
