Windows 10: my whole pcs audio sounds muffled when in a xbox party

Discus and support my whole pcs audio sounds muffled when in a xbox party in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Whenever i join or make an xbox party my pc sounds suddenly becomes muffled i tried everything and i cant manage to find a fix and yes i tried another...     my whole pcs audio sounds muffled when in a xbox party


    Whenever i join or make an xbox party my pc sounds suddenly becomes muffled i tried everything and i cant manage to find a fix and yes i tried another headset and still the same problem. i have the same problem when launching sea of thieves and some other games.

    The windows 10 xbox party beta chat sounds muffled

    So i have just joined my friends party through the xbox app on my windows 10 pc and all of their voices sound muffled, idk whats wrong?

    The windows 10 xbox party beta chat sounds muffled

    I have a cyber power pc with a soundblaster recon 3di sound card with an i7 processor and 8 gigs of DDR4 ram.

    I don't get any error codes, and when my friends talk the first syllable that comes out through the speakers sound normal but then it shifts quickly into a muffled sound right after words but when I play music from Spotify in the background their voices
    come out where I can hear what they are saying though as soon as I turn the music down in goes back to muffled.

    I have made plenty of changed to my computer, would it be the eq on my computer that comes with the sound blaster recon 3di software because I changed the EQ into a slight u shape so I have more bass and higher vocals in my music and I keep that on but when
    I use Skype it doesn't change anything, it is just the xbox party in the app on windows 10. I also joined the party on my xbox and it sounded fine on their so idk, I havn't tried the driver in compatibility mode yet but I will as soon as I get home.

    Muffled Sound

    Hello,

    When I open more than one app the sound becomes muffled; for example, I'm listening to music and it sounds normal, but if I open a videogame the sound becomes muffled.

    The audio driver is Conexant SmartAudioHD

    Also, my headphones don't appear in the sound devices.

    Does anyone know any solution?
