Windows 10: my Wi-Fi gets disconnected whenever I close my laptop lid, that is, it goes to sleep mode.

Whenever I open my laptop lid, it always shows that its not connected to the internet for the first few seconds, after which it connects automatically to my wifi. I am running windows 11 and have enabled all 6 options for best power efficiency. I tried troubleshooting but it couldn't find any error. I have Tried turning off the IPv6 option in network properties which did not work, I tried disabling usb selective suspend which did not work as well. I think this might be why my lock screen wallpaper doesn't update windows spotlight. I wouldn't really have bothered about it so much, but I need

How to prevent my laptop (Windows 10) from DISCONNECTING from Wi-Fi when it goes in sleep mode.

Here is my issue:

Every time my laptop goes to sleep, it automatically disconnects from Wi-Fi which is very disturbing and annoying.
(1)Please convey to me how to prevent this from happening

OR


If in a very unfortunate situation, no such option exists, then please tell me how to RE-CONNECT to Wi-Fi after sleep mode. Because every time I come back from sleep mode, a "globe-like symbol" is there and somehow no Wi-Fi connections are appearing and in the end, I have to close all my work and restart the laptop.

 

Laptop goes to sleep mode during shutdown after closing the lid

I have a problem with windows 10 which is going to sleep mode instead of shuting down.

I changed power settings to shutdown after closing the lid and to go to sleep mode when I press power button.

Now, when I press power button system starts to shutdown. Then I close the lid and system goes to sleep mode during shutdown process...

When I open the lid again the laptop wakes up and continues to shut down.

Is it normal behaviour? In my opinion system shouldn't go to sleep when is shutting down.

• Did you make any recent changes prior to the issue?
• Are you facing this issue specifically when playing the specific Game?
• Are you facing this issue after any recent updates installed?

This issue might have caused due to the power settings for the closing of LID is set to sleep mode.

• Press Windows + X keys and select the Control Panel.
• Select Power options by searching in search box.
• Right side select Change Plan setting next to the power plans.
• Select the Change advanced Power plan settings.
• Under the list select and expand Power buttons and lid.
• Select Turn off the display under the drop down of setting.
• Click Apply. Ok.
• Close the LID and Check if the issue resolves.
