    My Wi-fi is disabled and it will not let enable it.


    I have an older Lenovo laptop with Windows 10. I have been trying to connect via ethernet this laptop doesn't even have the correct port for the cable so I tried and adapter - nothing. I tried a few suggestions found online to get it working and did a restart. After the restart the Wi-Fi option is now disabled and I cannot enabled it. The LAN Connection does not work so I cannot update drivers as suggested in other posts. I'm at a loss and I really need a way to be able to connect to internet for work.This was the post I followed to try and fix the ethernet connection. Once I restarted th

    USB Wi-Fi Adapter Disabling

    Is it on Windows 8's compatibility list (check MS website- forgot link)?

    I had an issue with one Wi-fi adapter and it wasn't listed as compatible- All was well when I swapped it out with one on the compatibility list

    I am experiencing an issue with my Windows 11 device where the Wi-Fi option is not appearing. I have tried several troubleshooting steps, but none have resolved the problem. Could anyone please provide guidance or suggest potential solutions? Here are the steps I have taken so far:

    1. Restarted my computer.
    2. Checked for Windows updates and installed any available updates.
    3. Verified that the Wi-Fi adapter is enabled in Device Manager.
    4. Ran the network troubleshooter.
    Despite these efforts, the Wi-Fi option is still missing from the network settings.

    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    ASUS Z97-PRO Wi-Fi locks up with onboard Wi-Fi enabled

    I've been running my ASUS Z97-PRO Wi-Fi ac USB 3.1 for many months now on Ethernet, but just recently had the need to try the built in wireless connectivity. Unfortunately, whenever I enable the onboard Wi-Fi in the system BIOS, it will lock up attempting to boot into Windows 10 64. Disabling the onboard Wi-Fi in the BIOS clears the problem and the system boots up just fine. I'm not sure if this is a hardware or software issue yet.
