Windows 10: My wife inadvertently changed her birthday to our childs birthday and now we cannot change...

We spent almost 1hr on a chat with your support and they were absolutely of no help. This is a simple problem yet they were unable to help. I have tried to link my wifes account to my account in hopes I could be a parent and her a child and then I could change her birthdate but when I click on manage consent on her profile in the family safety page her profile does not show up as an option. Please help.

Unable to change birthday on account. I've accidentally changed my account to a Child account. I've created another adult account and linked it via the family but unable to change the child account birthday to my own to make it an adult account. Please help.

I'm also confused. First off, you changed their birthday on your phone. Did the change actually sync back to Windows Live? Make sure the Sync Interval option is set to something other than "manual" in Settings>email + accounts.

Second, if you're friends with the contact in Windows Live or Facebook, their birthday may override your changes if they update it on their own.

Or are you referring to the Birthday Calendar feature? It seems the Windows Live/Hotmail/Birthday calendar feature is having some issues right now in updating birthdays when a contact's birthday info changes.
