Windows 10: My wife's and daughters pc's both started swapping the left and right mouse click option in...

My wife and daughter were playing on their computers when suddenly both of them lost left click functionality. When I diagnosed the issue I found that the left click and the right click buttons were swapped in the settings- mouse menu in windows. I swapped them back and they resumed, only for a few minutes later it to happen again.I have tried swapping it back myself in the settings menu and it ALWAYS gets swapped on its own to right click. There were no new devices installed, there were no new drivers installed. This happened out of the blue to both of them and none of the fixes I've foun

Hi

I have a DECUS gaming mouse. It has started to swap the right click button and the left click button. I have downloaded the software for the mouse and swapped the keys there, however it did not work. I have looked around on the internettet and there seems
to be no solution for this porblem, i apriciate all tips and tricks you may have

 

Left handed & Right handed mouse users

Bad news for me and you,

I just log in to a PC with a brand new Microsoft Account, I have configured the mouse has a left-handed mouse, work 5 minutes on the PC. Then went to another PC to log myself with the same new Microsoft Account, right from there the Mouse settings was on
left-handed (meaning that the settings were been kept/saved in the cloud of the new Microsft Account).

Then I have manually swapped the mouse settings on the right-handed option, played on the Pc for about 2-3 min, didn't log out myself on the second PC. Then I returned on the first PC initially set with left-handed mouse option, the mouse did work out as normal
on left-handed for about 1 min maximum, then something must have synced in the background because suddenly the mouse flipped by itself to right-handed.

Finally, I swapped again the mouse on the first PC for the left-handed mouse, return to the second PC and reboot the PC. When rebooted and logged in, the mouse had flipped from right-handed to left-handed.

What's this is telling me, that is that my two accounts (old and new) do the same behavior and it looks like that the mouse settings are saved in the account (in the Cloud maybe???). Then when the user logs again the saved settings are applied on this PC. And
"Windows 10" even has swapped the settings without having to reboot when the same account is connected to two different PC.

It looks like the last modification made to the mouse settings seems to be sent to the other PC logged with the same account, also.

Left/Right display swapped


When I turn on my Compaq desktop the display will flicker for a few minutes, then the right and left sides swap themselves. It's as if someone cut the picture vertically and switched the sides. Moving the mouse off the left edge makes it appear on the right edge. I figured it was possibly the video driver so I went to the device manager and removed the driver and restarted. That didn't help, after a few minutes the screen flickered and swapped sides again. I set the computer to safe mode and the screen swapping stopped. My thought is to replace the onboard graphics with a stand-alone card. Do you think I'm on the right track?
