Windows 10: My WiFi adapter keeps disabling automatically, and my Windows system freezes occasionally.

My Asus Tuf F15FX506LI Gaming laptop Mediatek wireless adapter MT 7921 wifi 6 just randomly disables itself after I open my laptop I did many troubleshoots and restarting my laptop and even making a network reset uninstalling the drivers and downloading them back I had this problem for more than a week and I can't use my laptop even considering to send it for repairs or even buying an external wifi adapter this happens when I open my laptop after shutdown and even in the middle of using a laptop I was also called customer service they told me to update your window because previously I use

I keep losing my WiFi adapter

I tried the Option 2 approach but kept getting the Error NetSetupDeleteObjecton Network Adapter error (0x80070005) error, even after a dozen executions of the command. That seemed like it was going nowhere so I tried Option 1.

After completing the reboot in Option 1, I never got the dialog that asked if I wanted to make the computer discoverable, even after a significant wait.

Do you have any further suggestions? I'm going to move on to "Compumind's" suggestion in the meantime and see if that helps....

I started working my way down the list.

1. Both the ipv4 and ipv6 resets said "access denied!". However, the mere attempt worked *briefly*, then the WiFi went down again.
2. I disabled and re-enabled the network adapter. Again, it worked *briefly*, then I lost the WiFi again.
3. I tried to disable the antivirus but couldn't find a setting for that so uninstalled it entirely. I got the WiFi back and this time it stayed on for several hours instead of a few minutes so I assumed it was fixed. Then I installed the new Avast One and the WiFi is still working so I'm assuming that all is well finally!

WiFi adapter disables itself

Sorry, but that does not solve the problem. Here's the condition, any suggestions?

Asus and HP laptops upgraded to Win 10 August 2015, both using anniversary edition version 1607, 64 bit, installed on 8-24-16. All of the fixes suggest have been tried and do not work. A/V is Norton Security.

• WiFi adapter disables itself and will not allow it to be re-enabled. Troubleshoot will not fix and restart is required.
  But Restart hangs and takes 30+ min. (90 min. 1-8) to complete or a forced shutdown by physically turning off the PC is needed to resolve.
  Can cause Edge to fail to find web pages after restart.
  • Asus last occurred: 12-25-16, 12-14, numerous dates since August 2015.
    Happened occasionally while on Win 8.1
  • HP last occurred: 1-8, 1-6, 1-1, 12-27-16, 12-14, numerous dates since August 2015. Never happened while on Win 7.

 

WiFi Adapter keeps disabling itself

My WiFi adapter keeps disabling itself. This started sometime in Nov 2016 or so with a new update. Before that, it worked fine.

I have done all the "suggestions", but none have worked. Any new ideas?

My mom's computer keeps losing internet as well (running Windows 10 also). I asked Uncle Google and maybe hers is a DNS issue, but why? I tried on her computer disabling the Wired Ethernet Card that some suggested, etc.

I am very annoyed. I really liked Windows 10 when it first came out, but it seems every time we get a new update, it breaks something else.
