Windows 10: My wifi and airplane mode dont show up.

I have had this issue for soooooo long and i have tried many many things to fix this issue and nothing works. Me and my brother bought the same exact pc and his wifi and airplane mode show up but mine dont. Now when i bought this pc everything worked fine but not anymore. Ive had this issue for around a year. Heres a screenshot i took so you guys can see what im talking about. also it legit only lets me use ethernet and i have no idea why i know ethernet is better but i also want to use wifi sometimes instead of ethernet so please help!

airplane mode

problem was:

pc cant connect to wifi cos airplane mode randomly turned on by itself

you can google to see why computer does that - microsoft seems to have never fixed this

fixed this by turning off something in services (this goes to show how many services are bad and should be off by default, again a long-standing microsoft problem that they've never made better)


new problem:

the wifi icon on botton left changed to the airplane mode icon

and when old problem was fixed, airplane mode icon is stuck like that

what are steps to fix?

what are troubleshoot this?

 

Airplane mode and WiFi are showing up

I have a desktop computer that wouldn’t show any WiFi networks. I put it on airplane mode and tried to turn it back off but it won’t show airplane mode anyway in my computer. It's not in settings, action center, anything. Is there a way to make my airplane
mode show up on computer? I'll deal with the WiFi last.

 

W10 Airplane Mode UI error

Found this today in list of known W10 issues:
"After logging into your PC, you may hit a UI issue in which Airplane Mode will incorrectly show as “on” even though your PC’s Wi-Fi is powered on (the UI essentially does not wait long enough for the device’s physical radios to power on before reporting the current state), but you can just toggle Airplane Mode as a workaround".
So I just toggle Bluetooth on/off which clears the Airplane Mode indicator.
