Windows 10: My Wifi antenna isnt working/I can’t connect to wifi help

So i just built this new gaming pc which includes wifi 6 and i connected the wifi antenna to the pc. Even after installing the Wifi drivers for my motherboard it STILL wont show up.I’ve been having problems with this for a few hours and still tutorial to tutorial it never worked. Incase ur wondering, im using the gigabyte b550 aorus elite ax v2 motherboard.thanks

Not being rude or anything by posting links; however, antennas are more than a wire in a piece of covering.
You got propagation, transmit/receive gain, standing waves, etc. to consider in the proper implementation. It is, actually, more important on low power output/receive circuits/chipsets.

On the left, look through the 'Long Range WiFi' menu. Lots of really good stuff. I have made one of the Yagi antennas, but I never completed it. It's done, but it's missing the cable that connects the antenna to the wifi source.

 

External USB WiFi antenna doesn't see a network, but integrated does

External USB WiFi antenna doesn't see a network, but integrated wifi card does, even though it has a much lower range! It makes absolutely no sense, why wouldn;t the stronger antenna list this netowrk? I really need to connect to it in order to use the internet properly...

I tried disabling and uninstalling the internal Intel N-1000 WiFi card, and nothing changes...
