  1. my wifi has been spiking on my pc and my pc only.

My wifi has been spiking while i play online games or on a call with someone. It is only on this device. I do not use ethernet and I never have on this computer, and I have never had a problem. While doing an internet speed test, I will go from around 21 Megabits per second and will gradually decrease over around 10 seconds until I'm at around 4 and it will sit there for around 5 seconds before spiking back up to the 21 mark. I have tried flushing the Dns, reseting my network, and uninstalling and reinstalling my netwrok drivers. Im honestly at a loss here. This problem has been happening for

    :)

  2. PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval
    • Install system in case
      • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
    • Turn on PC
    • setup HDD
    • run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
      • run realtemp at the same time
    • While in Prime95 test
      • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
      • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
      • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!
    What do you guys think??

Frequent and regular lag spikes on Wifi

    Thank you for the clarification.

There are a lot of possible causes for this matter. One possible cause is with your
Networking Hardware. However, we need to make sure that it is the case.
We suggest that you perform these methods of troubleshooting and check
    if there's any changes:

    Method 1: Reset TCP/IP

To do this, follow these steps:

    • Run
      Command Prompt
      as
      Administrator.

    • Run
      this
      command:

      • netsh
        int
        ip
        reset and hit
        Enter.

    Exit
    Command Prompt
    and
    monitor your
    WiFi connection.

Method 2: Disable auto turn-off of
    WiFi device.

    Go to
Network and Sharing Center. At the
    right pane, click
    Change adapter settings.
    Right-click
    on your
    connection name (WiFi name)
    and go to
    Properties.
    Click
    the
    "Configure..."
    button
    and go to
    Power Management
    tab.
    Uncheck/disable
    the
    radio button
    for
"Allow this device to turn off this device to save
    power". And then,
    Restart the PC (Important).

    Method 3: Reconfigure TCP/IP

To do this, follow these steps:

    • Run
      Command Prompt
      as
      Administrator.

    • Run
      these following
      commands:

      • netsh
        int
        tcp set heuristics
        disabled

      • netsh
        int
        tcp
        set global
        autotuninglevel=disabled

      • netsh
        int
        tcp set global
        rss=enabled

If the issue still persists, kindly contact your
    computer's manufacturer
    for further assistance.

Let us know how it goes.

    Regards.

my wifi has been spiking on my pc and my pc only.

having Ping spikes all the time and random disconnects from my WIFI on my PC

So, my WIFI on my PC has been having issues since and I really dont know how to fix it. I always get ping spikes and even sometimes disconnect from the WIFI. This especially happens a lot when my brothers PC is on his PC. The thing is, ive even played online games with my brother, and he seems to have no issues about disconnects and ping spikes, while I was disconnecting several times. I have the same WIFI stick like my brother and i even bought a new one for the thought that the issues were coming from my last one, but im still getting the spikes n disconnects. Any help would be appreciatable. Thanks!
