Windows 10: MY WIFI ICON WENT MISSING AND I CAN'T CONNECT!!!

I got my PC last Christmas and everything was working and going great until recently the WiFi icon went missing and it's not letting me connect I don't use a LAN cable or any cable for that matter so I'm really confused. Can you help me?

Wifi Icon missing

So, after a while i had installed win10 my wi-fi icon is gone and the problem is that in my setting the icon is activated and wi-fi driver works but still can t find a wifi to connect, only solution that i have find is to create a new connection at my
home wifi and now i have an internet connection, but the wi-fi icon is still missing and can't find others wi-fi connections. What can i do in this case?

I tried all the suggestions listed beforehand and my wifi icon has gone from the notifications area as well as the list in the settings for the task bar and notification area. does anyone know how to get it back? none of the suggestions so far have worked.

 

Missing WiFi icon and could not connect to WiFi

I have a Surface 2. It was OK the night before, but in the morning, the WiFi icon was missed(in the task bar + Network setting) and could not connect to the WiFi neither.
