Windows 10: My wifi network wont show up anymore but i get others?

Ive had my wifi connection work for a while on it never had any problems. Yesterday i got on and it wasn't connected to the internet,. I checled the avaliable networks to reconnect but my Wifi network wasn't showing up, i kept refreshing and nothing. I know my router is working beacuse i can still connect on my phone, game systems, and TV. Is this a bug or something? And does anyone know a fix? This is my work PC and i can't really work without the Wifi.

I tried reseting the networks and after aboit 5 minutes it shit downs and restarted but that didn't fix it. Please help

Wifi Networks dont show up

After my pc got a hardware change, wifi networks wont show up anymore. I cannot connect to wifi or bluetooth

 

"WiFi- Show Available Networks" does not list wireless routers anymore

I have the exact same problem ad Topic Starter,

When clicking 'Show available networks' in Windows Settings > Status or Wi-Fi > Show Available networks, or clicking the wifi icon in the taskbar (bottom right), the list will pop up, but not show any networks.

- I am currently connected to a network I have been connected to before (wireless)

- When I choose Windows Settings > Wi-Fi > Manage known networks it will show all the networks I have been connected to in the past.

- When I restart my computer I can click the wifi icon on the Windows login page and it will show available networks.

I have tried many different things, but to no avail. For now I can work, since my home and work network are recognized - but I won't be able to join a new network or to 'forget' a network, or manually connect to it.

Some suggested to do something with Cortana, but that is not a process that runs on my computer.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Secondary problem: the Windows search bar (when you click the Start button/windows key on the keyboard), does not work anymore. No searches for any application or file are currently possible. Highly annoying.

Wifi Networks not showing

On my Laptop if I wanted to change the wifi connection I would always see a list of the available networks when I selected the Wifi icon on the task bar.
Since the last major update to Windows 10 I find that when I select the wifi icon I only see the current connection





To see other networks within range I have to open the 'Network settings' and choose 'Show available networks' - then they show up.





Does anyone have any explanation for this - or possibly a 'fix' to show them all from the taskbar again.
