Windows 10: My wifi signal on my pc is poor and diconnects repeatedly.

Ive had my pc for over a year now, my internet service hasn’t changed in years and I’ve had no issue up until a few days ago. My pc can detect my Wi-Fi, but it will either choose to not connect at all or connect with a very poor signal. Once it has connected, it will either disconnect or say “connected no signal” a few minutes later. No other device in my home has this issue. I’ve already power cycled my pc and router, done a virus scan which came up clean, attempted to update my drivers which were already on the latest update, and even went as far as to fully reinstall windows which had no ef

wifi signal fluctuates

My wifi signal strength was working good when i bought my lumia 640xl...bt since i upgraded to win10...the signal fluctuates even though on my pc and other devices at my home the signal strength is strong...please suggest a solution...thank you

Hey Brian,

Let’s start off with a clean slate. Please reboot your wireless router, the signal booster(unplug, wait 5 seconds, plug in), and your PC. Do them in that order.

Then, on your PC, go to settings - network and internet - WiFi - see if you can see your signal booster on the list of networks to connect to. If the signal booster is working properly, you should see it on the list and be able to connect to it.

Nokia 6300 Poor Signal Strength

The signal indicator on mobile phones are only indicative measures. There is no reason to believe that 2 bars on a Motorola is more then 1 bar on your 6300. Either way, it would suggest that the signal in your area is generally poor. However, I would be
worried if your other phone is showing full bars while your 6300 was only showing 1 bar.
