    I have had my pc for a few months now and a few days ago I noticed that every few seconds my ping spikes to 2000 in video games I tried to look up tutorials but none worked. I am using a TP link wifi adapter for the Internet too.

    Hello,

    Sorry I think you misunderstood me.

    The computer resumes from the sleep just fine. My problem is if I leave my desk for 30 seconds, it goes into sleep. That shouldn't happen because my power plan settings is 30 minutes.

    Hope I am clear this time.

    Wifi/Ping issue

    Somedays my wifi can be great but some days I get this very frustrating thing with my ping in applications like Discord,Chrome,Games etc., The initial problem is that my ping goes from 30/50 ping to almost 100 ping plus and its very hard to deal with.
    Whenever I try to play a game like this I can barely move ANYWHERE So help would greatly be appreciated

    Wifi ping spikes

    Hello,

    I am experiencing ping spikes on certain wifi connection.

    It has started in October, when I was at boarding house in Uni everything on wifi was smooth, but when I moved to homestay at connected to their wifi, I have started experiencing ping spike up to 2000ms every 30 seconds. So I couldn't play online games or
    even streaming movies.

    Than when I moved back to uni, ping got to it's normal state around 30-50ms.

    When I came back in 2 month, same problem was still appearing, and restarting wifi router didnt help, so I decided to reset a PC and it didnt help at all, but I now have to download 150gb of games again.

    I dont know what to do, I tried browsing, but I couldn't find anyone with same problem, please help.
