    My Win 11 wifi sys tray on mouse over always shows old connection


    Mousing over my Wifi connection status does show my current network, but also always lists below that it's connected to an old Verizon MiFi hotspot I no longer use. This is not known or available networks or anything when going to the actual settings window; this is just the listing of current connection when I hover over the WiFi icon in the system tray. How can I delete this network from displaying?

    WiFi icon has disappeared from system tray

    I have Win 10 Pro 21H1

    My WiFi icon has disappeared from system tray.

    How do I restore it please - or find an alternative way to display the list of available WiFi connections.

    It was showing earlier today. I was trying to print from a Samsung Galaxy to a 10-year-old MX340 printer, which is so old it's not supported by a driver. I was trying to print TCP/IP info.

    Connected via WiFi but only ethernet network icon shows in Tray

    Here's a strange one. I am connected via Wifi, everything works fine, fast, stable. But I just noticed the icon showing in my Tray area is the wired ethernet icon. (No RJ45 cable connected, no docking station).
