Windows 10: My win 8.1 pc died how do I reinstall On new pc? Do I have to buy again?

Ok, so this is the situation. When I bought and paid for a pc build reputable company, still trading, very successful Windows 8.1 Pro along with MS Office Home was bought OEM. I cannot find any key and not sure if an install CD came shipped, have searched.I bought pc in 2013, still have receipts and my purchase history is printable from vendor along with graphics and HDD upgrades/replace over the years. My diagnosis is that the boot ssd is dying but still accessible, file swaps, saving and retrieve is shaky so have turned off pc. It has not gone into safe mode, yet Samsung EVO 250gb.I am

Reinstall Win 10 Pro on a Replacement PC

We purchased and upgraded a PC to Win 10 Pro, now that laptop died and must be replaced with a new one.

How do I reinstall the Win 10 Pro that I already bought?

 

Old PC died. Can I use my original windows 7 key to install windows 10 on a new PC?

My 8 year old PC died recently so instead of upgrading I have decided to buy a new one. My old PC was originally windows 7 and I still have the product key sticker attached to it. I never linked that key to this Microsoft account (which currently has 1 windows
10 licence that came with a Surface Pro). Am I able to install windows 10 on my new PC using this old key? How do I go about it?

 

Upgrading new PC to Win 10

I just bought a new Dell Win 8.1 PC last week. I want to upgrade it to Win 10.

For some reason, the Get Windows 10 App is not appearing in the tray, nor the GWX process in the task manager. I downloaded the troubleshooter from the Windows KB topic. It says that my version of windows is not up to date:

For Detection Details, it says I am running Windows Version 6.3 (which is 8.1, as confirmed in Control Panel->System); I am running 64 bit Windows 8.1, not Enterprise.

I have downloaded, installed updates, and restarted 3 times, totaling about 150 updates, and the only one I haven't installed is the skype app update. So Windows Update (from the control panel) thinks I'm up to date. I've changed update settings a few times, getting and installing more and more update options, until it finally says:

Most recent check for updates was 1 minute ago (2:49 PM EST).

I have checked to ensure that I have Win 8.1's latest update. I am not running Enterprise Edition.

This is a brand new PC. On my older 8.1 (with worse specs), I had no issues.

What step(s) am I missing?
