    My Windows 10 DVD won't read any disks


    I have Windows 10 with a DVD drive that used to work. I have updated the drivers using Windows Update and they say the device is working. Whenever I try to read a DVD, the door opens and it says to put a DVD into the drawer. How do I fix it?

    DVD drive not in Device Manager and will not read DVD Disks

    the dvd drive is not listed in the Device Manager list and the drive it self will not read dvd disks

    My pc won´t boot Windows 10 from USB/DVD

    So I wanted to change from my Windows 10 x32 bits to 64x. I downloaded the Mediacreationtool and used it in both a USB and a DVD. Tried used the usb, the disk and both at the same time but they won´t boot.

    I have a P7H55-M motherboard, the BIOS is updated and configured to boot first DVD, second usb and third SATA.

    So if someone could help me it´d be great.

    My CD ROM can´t read any CDs or DVDs

    I wanted to use my CD ROM after a long time, and then after many attempts with other CDs/DVDs, all I can say is that my CD ROM won´t read anything.

    I tried solutions online, like using regedit and search for UpperFilters and LowerFilters, but I don´t have them, but it still won´t read anything. I have Windows 7 Home Premium, can anyone help me?
