Windows 10: My windows 10 failed to upgrade

I am now getting a new error. The error i am now getting is error C1420127 windows 10 now installs almost but towards the end it stops and says error and then when i go to look at it that is what the error is.

Btw, you can't use setup.exe you will get that error

 

I registered just to reply to this. Sorry if it hurts, but are you retarded?
Microsoft has never said to use setup.exe. Why do you do that? Of course error is to be expected.

Forcing windows update not always works (tried on 5 machines today, only 2 worked). Sometimes it's downloading, preparing and on the last step you might get error.

But if everything is successful after download and preparation, it should popup a window where it will ask you to agree to it.

I highly recommend you to wait until tomorrow and see how things go. I broke Windows Update on 2 machines because of too many "tweaks" to receive it. The upgrade will not be gone, don't worry.*Cool

 

Thanks bro, i feel so much better now being called a retard and yes i do know that you are not ment to use that. i was just giving everything and anything a shot i just was looking forward to windows 10 and my friend was like uh yeah just booting up the windows 10 ahhhh and mine was still not working. so i was just ruling out anything and everything that might of worked

Thankyou for the help but it did not work, Yes i did remove the files in the download and then typed the command in cmd with admin and yes it did download windows 10 again but when it was preparing to installing it installed half way then failed again. For some reason the download size of the file was 5. something gbs and then it dropped to 2.65 idk why. i just disabled my antivirus and tried again but no luck. Thanks for the try tho.

 

Yes, this is obvious bug when we manually mess with Windows Update. The OS is going to download again, and size downloading will grow to 5GB, then 10GB, etc... it keeps staking in the folder but upgrade fails.

Like I said, worked on 2 machines out of 5, so it's not the location. It's just Microsoft wanting people to ruin their systems because wait is killing us all. *Wink

 

haha yeah xD i hope they fix it soon which i'm guessing they will because a lot of people are having the problem.

 

Should be there until tomorrow at most. If not - boycott M$ for failed promises once again *Biggrin

I ended up waiting for my desktop upgrade. Already downloaded like 50GB's of 'failed' shit on my SSD. Not to my taste. Cheers lad, take it easy.
