My Windows 10 is not recognising me as administrator so I cannot launch Device Manager

I have an ongoing issue: while i am typing with my keyboard it randomly starts to open up several windows mostly stuff under Windows Settings instead of recognising the letters i am typing. This can be fixed temporarily if i press Windows Key + Alt but then later it happens again like 10 times a day. The permanent fix for this would be a driver update but when I am trying to launch the Device Manager, it is not opening, telling me I am not an administrator on my computer. So it lead to this other issue. I checked and I am listed as administrator on the computer, I am the only user and I am

My Windows 10 is not recognising me as administrator so I cannot launch Device Manager

New SATA drives recognised by BIOS but not detected by Vista

Right, I managed to get them to show up! Yay! However, there is still a major problem. Vista does not recognise them as hard drives.

In Device Manager, they are under "Other Devices" and both are listed as "MAXTOR S TM3250310AS SCSI Disk Device". I can't install any drivers for them and they do not show up in the Disk Management panel still.
