Windows 10: My windows 10 key got desactivated after swapping some hardware and i'm part of an...

Hello, i recently swapped out pretty much everything in my computer except for the storage. Up until now it was doing just fine until i noticed that my windows 10 liscence got desactivated. I cannot reactivate it through the windows settings. I have no clue of what to do and i don't really want to spend money on a new one.Also, a few month ago i got myself hacked and, despite me completely getting rid of the virus, it still added me in an organisation which desactivates some windows settings and i don't know how to get out of it.

Thanks but I don't want to do any decrypting. I want to download a Win 10 ISO from Microsoft and install it using my Win 8 key. No other steps required. Is that possible?

Method 1.

I would suggest you to run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter to diagnose the exact issue. Follow the below steps:

  Press Windows + X keys on the keyboard and select Control Panel.

  Type Troubleshooting in the search bar on the Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on Hardware and sound under Troubleshoot computer problems.
  
• 
  Click on Hardware and devices under Devices.

  Click on Advanced on the Hardware and devices dialog box and click on Run as administrator (Enter the credentials if required).

If the issue still persist try the below method steps.

I would recommend you to update the keyboard driver manually from device manager and let us know the status.

Installing Windows 10 using Windows 7 key

Nope, you need to install Windows 10 first and make sure the Windows 7 key is transferred to your Windows account after you've installed Windows 10 (not quite sure how that works). I missed the last step and I could not activate Windows 10 after a re-install... Microsoft seem to have done everything they can to make it a PITA. Also, it's technically too late to do this now anyhow, as the upgrade offer has expired. But KMSPico works quite well...

As for getting rid of Windows, delete the Windows folder.
